What is one of Your Key Items for this upcoming 2011 Fall/Winter season?  Our cowls crossover loops, curve, twist, and contour to the shape of the graceful female form. We are proudly introducing our new combined mohair/silk yarn with unsurpassed feel and handle in a dramatic color palette of Smoky Slates, Cerise Pinks, Mahogany, Iris and Limelight. Our knits are presented in cozy brushed yarns and light gossamer and lace-like patterns.

How do you start the design process when creating a new collection?  Modern sensibility and the capability of our evolving yarns inspire our design team. We study the apparel trends and ensure that as fashion evolves our accessories continue to enhance each new season’s garments and the feminine form.

What do you think will draw retailers to your collection this upcoming season?  Retailers continue to be drawn to our alluring styles, superb quality, color and texture that entices our retailers’ clientele. Baby Mo is well justified for its perception of value. Authentic exclusivity is inherent in our handcrafted collection using only scarce natural kid mohair yarns. Our versatile accessories function as an integral part of the overall desired look from casual to formal.

What changes have you noticed in retail over the last year?  The economic climate has created pent up demand for new design, novel style and unique items with a classic basis. Retailers now expect that they can rely on the social consciousness of their sources, while simultaneously acquiring products that can stand on their own in world markets. Continued growth and being featured in Oprah  Magazine and House Beautiful in 2010 is testimony to being noticed for style, quality and success.

If you could dress a celebrity, who you feel fits your product image, who would it be and why?  Penelope Cruz has a remarkable range in her looks as a model and the rolesshe plays; classy, elegant, sultry, sensual, and conservative. We are proud to know that our versatile fashion accessories could enhance her every look.
