What is your brand doing to address the growing importance of social media and how has it impacted your business?
We clearly see the opportunity and importance of social media to expand our brand awareness and to tell people our story. We like to explore all possibilities to reach our consumers such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter which provide daily content, news, and videos. We engage with existing and potential costumers. This has been a great opportunity for sales also.
How do you personally stay up-to-date with fashion?
More than fashion, we like to think of style as a constant way to reinvent yourself. The way we stay up- to-date is searching the internet, traveling, being constantly aware of new trends, designers, artists, places and architecture.
What do you consider to be the world’s best fashion city?
We think the world’s leading city for fashion is New York. It is the center of art and style, is the host to a lot of important brands, fashion magazines, and fashion week. The streets of New York are dominated by sophisticated, original outfits and what I like the most is the variety from elegant to retro, or plain to eccentric.
Where does your main source of inspiration come from when designing a new collection?
Our creative process is an interpretation of cultures and elements that awake our creativity. Many different subjects, from nature to ancient civilizations, inspire us.
Describe your Fall/Winter 2013 collection.
Our collection is inspired by India and its people. We were seduced by their vivid colors, the lush of their aesthetics, the richness and complex symbolism of their graphics and paintings, and Bollywood with its extravaganza and creativity. Their icons, deities and customs were present in every detail of our collection with our own interpretation.
Do you try to keep with the trends or create your own?
Pajarolimon’s philosophy is timeless. Our products offer not trends, but a way to feel unique and multiply femininity without being obvious and transform each woman into what she really should be – versatile and exquisite in all senses.
What’s one staple accessory that you think every woman should own?
We don’t think there is one staple accessory; we believe each woman is different and feels different. Therefore, we like to reinforce the identity of each one of our designs instead.
